To have a co-ordinated and comprehensive PSHE programme that impacts across and beyond the curriculum.
Definition: PSHE including SRE & Drug Education
Personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) education including Sex and Relationship Education (SRE) and Drug Education (including alcohol, tobacco and volatile substance abuse) is a planned programme of learning opportunities and experiences that help children and young people grow and develop as individuals and as members of families and of social and economic communities. Personal well-being draws together personal, social and health education, including sex education, the social and emotional aspects of learning, while economic well-being draws together economic understanding, careers education, enterprise, financial capability and work-related learning (PSHE Association 2009).
