PSHE Certification
The Certification of the Teaching of PSHE is a fully-funded one-year programme open to all teachers and community nurses. It offers a unique opportunity to develop confidence, knowledge and skills in delivering PSHE and provides national recognition for your practice, experience and skills. As part of the programme you would have access to:
- A clear framework to develop skills and experience
- Focused training to increase your confidence and effectiveness in delivering PSHE (approximately 3 full days and four twilight sessions over the course of the year)
- An opportunity to network with colleagues from other schools and phases
- Dedicated quality time to reflect and discuss

A nationally-recognised certificate from the DfES. Full funding is provided to support these activities including supply cover

An opportunity to pursue specialist modules of study in Sex and Relationship Education, Drug Education or Emotional Health and Well Being
The programme is open to colleagues currently teaching PSHE in primary, secondary, special schools and pupil referral units. The PSHE CPD qualification is accreditated by Roehampton University and worth 30 points at HE3. It can also be credited towards higher level accreditation (HE4) Master’s degree level. Several previous candidates have gone on to use this qualifciation with Kingston University as part of a Master's degree programme.
