Road Safety Key stages 2 and 3
The Design and Technology curriculum resources provide the opportunity to address Road Safety within the Design and Technology curriculum. The resources include a virtual journey, in the form of a power point presentation through a local community, through which travel issues and hazards are identified and design and make solutions highlighted.
In addition a range of activities which use thinking skills to identify design and make solutions to travel hazards and risks are provided for pupils and teachers to use and adapt in a variety of ways.
