Circle Time

By Bliss and Tetley This book explains how Circle Time can be easily introduced into the classroom and provides the teacher with a host of ideas and varied activities upon which to build a programme. Suggested menus are set out for infant, junior and secondary pupils with lesson plans and explanation of activities. Circle Time can be used in conjunction with Coming Round to Circle Time by Robinson and Maines - A 20 min video and booklet that introduces the basic Circle Time activities.

Developing Circle Time

Young Carers Resource Pack for Schools

This resource pack is produced for schools by Surrey Young Carers. It provides an innovative approach to tackling issues in schools, with information to assist teachers in identifying and supporting young carers and and lesson plans which enable young people to address the issues of disability and caring. The pack contains teaching materials for Key stages 2 and 3. The materials are designed as a half term module of lessons to be integrated into schools' existing PSHE programmes. Ideas for Key Stage 1 and 4 activities are contained in the appendices.
