There are full instructions and plenty of ideas to stimulate discussion on a healthy diet. The mat is based on the Balance of Good Health and should be used with the replica food.

(designed for key stage 2, but can be used for all ages) Although this pack was designed for Key Stage 2 to think critically about food advertising, packaging, labelling and marketing it can be used to stimulate discussion in all age groups. The pack has photocopiable worksheets designed to help pupils acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to make informed healthy choices as well as become more discerning in their choices.
EAT 5 RESOURCE PACK
(all ages) The comic company (HAS replaces HAVE) has produced leaflets and an activity book based on the Eat 5 Fruit and Vegetables message. These resources are ideal for getting the message across about the importance of fruit and vegetables in the diet. Each year there is a national food awareness week on the theme of increasing consumption of fruit and vegetables. Contact your health promotion dietitian/nutritionist to find out more and get some free resources.
